5 Seconds of Summer Concert @ PNC Arts Center

       On Sunday August 30th, I went to see one of my favorite bands, 5 Seconds of Summer in concert. The first time I saw them perform, was when they opened up for One Direction last summer, and the last time I saw them was when they were on Jimmy Fallon, last fall. They were awesome then, and they're awesome now. The show was great and everyone in the audience was dancing and jumping like crazy. Sometimes, I think they sound better live than they do on the album. 5sos put on a great and really fun concert. Calum seemed to be a little under the weather. He was very squinty and didn't move from the same spot almost the whole time. Even Luke was glancing at him with concern a few times. Michael and Luke though were pretty on the ball. But obviously Ashton had all the energy, and not just because of how hard he plays the drums. Something really cool that happened at the concert was that the band found out they won a VMA on stage. It was really special that the whole audience got to share that moment with them.
Even though they put on a really great show, you could definitely tell that this tour has taken a toll on them. But of course I would love to see them live again, because I love their music and the way they preform. Plus, they're too charming and silly for me to look away.
