Welcome to my life.

Beach, Boardwalk, and Brownie Ice Cream

On Tuesday my friends and I went to the jersey shore for a beach day. We first went to the beach and the waves were amazing. High tide is my favorite, I just wished I had a boogie board. Even though I love the ocean, I'm the only person out of all my friends and hates tanning. Besides the fact that it's unhealthy, I guess I just don't like feeling the sun beat down on me because I get hot really fast. So basically what I do, is literally have a towel cover almost my whole body, which usually leads me to fall asleep. I know I'm a weirdo, lol.

Whenever I get home from the beach (which again, I love), I always feel so gross and sandy and my hair always decides to defy gravity. I'm also always hungry, which means Wawa break. I seriously wish they had them in New York.
We went to the boardwalk later and all go hennas.I get henna's every time I go to Seaside and I usually go to the same stand I always go to. I'm usually pretty happy with the way the people do mine, but this time it was pretty terrible. To start off, I asked for an arrow. I got a curvy line. Then I asked for the 5SOS logo, (which I've gotten before in the past). It looked like a centipede. Though I did get one cute henna, which was a

little umbrella on my finger. On the bright side, it was a learning experience to not pick out any design with straight edges, or that could potentially look like an insect.
On the boardwalk we went on rides and had a lot of fun. I love the view of the beach and the whole park you get on some of the higher up rides. Especially when the sun is setting.

There's nothing to top off the night like ice cream and singing. That's why we went to The Music Man: The Singing Ice Cream Shoppe, the cabaret themed dessert parlor where you might have to sing and/or dance for your ice-cream. It's a whole lot of fun, especially for a bunch of theater kids.

There's something about the shore that I love. The sunsets, the summer breeze, the bike rides, the swings at the boardwalk, the beaches, the endless amount of ice-cream places and little boutiques. It's even more fun when your with your friends and people you love.
